With 25 years of experience as a mechanical building services consultancy our engineers have undertaken projects of all sizes, applications and complexities from a single hiwall HVAC unit to critical data centres and server rooms and 1.5MW of HVAC systems throughout hi-rise buildings
Industrial
Our engineers have completed projects for many applications within different industries including; industrial ventilation, process and health extraction, process engineering and swimming pool heating and services for industrial, manufacturing and Defence Force clients
Hydraulics
With over 25 years experience in both design build and consultancy services we have completed projects large and small and everything in between from small hub kitchen retrofits, domestic hot water and space heating plantrooms to an aircraft taxiway wash-rig (bird bath) with a water flow rate of over 130 litres per second, we have the experience to successfully deliver your hydraulic projects
Critical Facilities
Our engineers have designed air conditioning, extraction, fire and backup power systems for server rooms, data centres, aircraft simulators, telecom exchanges and Television studios and transmission throughout New Zealand. These have ranged in size from small server rooms to infrastructure for TVNZ and the NZDF

Energy Conscious Design (ECD) are a small customer focused mechanical building services consultancy based in Auckland. We provide HVAC, ventilation, industrial extraction and plumbing consultancy services for clients throughout New Zealand and have a primary focus on defence, educational, aged care as well as corporate clients.
We are customer focused and work collaboratively with clients to provide innovative solutions to challenging problems. Our engineers have had significant experience in a wide range of applications from a single hiwall HVAC unit up to critical server rooms and 1.5MW of HVAC throughout hi-rise buildings and from minor plumbing modifications up to an Aircraft taxiway wash rig (bird bath).
